Do not underestimate yourself by comparing yourself with others. It’s our differences that make us unique and beautiful.

What:

Camp Created to Live – a summer camp for youth ages 12 - 18 with special needs or learning differences.

Purpose: To strengthen the camper’s overall personal and life skills. Through the expressive arts, we hope to illuminate personal experiences and increase creative potential.

Who:

Special Needs and Learning Differences (Ages 12-18)

Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, Asperger’s, Mood Disorder, etc.

Why:

This allows the youth with special needs and learning differences to meet other children with similar interests and it also gives parents a safe place to bring their children without the feelings of self-consciousness/worry that arise in social situations.

How:

Each day campers will engage in a different community related / arts themed activity. At the end of the week, campers will conclude with a final product or performance.
